I travelled to Dunnet Head, the most northerly point of mainland UK, to experience the extended period of daylight that you get over the summer solstice. I stayed up all night observing the patterns and play of light on the sea. Perched on the vast sea cliffs looking towards Orkney and the Old Man of Hoy, I captured these dramatic cloud formations at midnight.
