NIGHTTIME PHOTOGRAPHY
During this class you will be taken through the thought process and techniques required to create an image like this one.
With practical demonstrations on location I'll show you the importance of camera position, lens selection, and exposure techniques required to render the richly intense colours seen here. You will gain an appreciation of how the quality of light changes as darkness falls and an understanding of how artificial light can be utilised to create vibrant and energetic images.
No special skills are required, as I will take you through all the steps, but you will need a digital SLR with a manual setting, a tripod and a medium telephoto lens.
Duration is 1-2 hrs, depending on class size. Students are invited to bring their laptops as a review and discussion session is available over a drink in a local bar or cafe.
Following the course you will be emailed notes detailing the processes and techniques learnt, together with original camera data from when I created this image.
You can choose to do the course only, or for an additional £15 you will receive 30 days email support.
